March 10  FB Entry: I need someone to adopt my children until baby #3 comes. They are about 75% potty trained (only 3-4 accidents a day!), are satisfied with milk or juice for all of their nutritional needs, go to bed early and only wake up 10 or so times at night. And then are ready to go again at about 7am! Easy Peasy. Who wants em? #sopregnant #sotired #beachedwhale #someonecallthemaid #orthenanny #oranyone

March 11th FB EntryI had to miss church today. 😢I hate missing church! It makes me feel so sad to not be able to see my church family and partake of the spirit that gives me strength to keep going.
I've been having Braxton Hicks (fake) contractions lately that keep me up at night and I'm pretty sure baby boy has gained 5 lbs in the last 5 days- I feel like my belly is ready to burst in half. Walking around or standing for more than even a few seconds is a joke! Today taking 2 toddlers to church alone was just more than I could do.
Luckily, I knew that help was only a phone call away. A sweet neighbor and her 2 daughters came and picked up my kids and took them to church so I could stay home and rest. Another neighbor called to ask how I was doing just because I was on her mind. The Relief Society is asking what they can do, in addition to meals, to make my life easier with this baby. My ministering sister is ready to drop everything to come help at any time. Not to mention those who are just friends that notice when I'm not around and take the time to tell me they missed me. It means a lot! I just feel so grateful, and surrounded by love. I can't imagine living life without the kind of community and service that I get to enjoy every day.
When Christ comes again and the righteous ask, "When saw we thee an hungered and fed thee? Or thirsty and gave thee drink? Or naked and clothed thee?...Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?" you'll remember that He was talking about ME. I was the hungry, the naked, the sick, the imprisoned.
Thank you all for ministering to me in the way Christ would.
"Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me."

March 8th: I can't tell you how sweet it is to have a baby girl who loves baby animals as much as I do. These are the moments I'll remember all my life. 😍😍 #alidamargaret #babygoats #animalLover #myminime

March 11 FB Entry: Someone up there 👆👆 knew I needed some sunshine today! Let's count the miracles:
#1- The snow is starting to melt and the sun came out so the kids and I were able to play outside this afternoon-which was SO good for our souls!
#2- we discovered that 2 of our 3 beehives are still alive - a miracle in and of itself this winter! It made me so happy to see those little ladies buzzing around today!!
#3, 4, and 5 - I got 3 packages in the mail today!! One with a home-made baby blanket and a book for baby boy (thank you Lindsay Carlen Biehn!!), one from my wonderful coworkers with all the gifts I would have gotten at the retreat in Hawaii (thank you Brooke Hemingway!!)- and some supplements! I love packages in the mail!!
#6- Instead of fighting and crying, the kids played well together and enjoyed each other's company! This afternoon after a few minutes of quiet behind a closed door, (you always know that means trouble) I open the bedroom door to find them both reading together. 🥰🥰 Truly a miracle.
#7 Another neighbor took Levi to preschool for me so I could rest. (I live in the best neighborhood!)
#8 A neighbor dropped off a plate of the best home-made glazed oatmeal cookies I've ever had in my life. AMAZING.
#9 Sweet ward friends brought over several freezer dinners (thank HEAVEN because I am WAY past the point of making dinner for my family at night- my poor kids and husband have gotten used to fast food).
It's hard to have a bad day when so many people are waiting in the wings to bless and help and lift. I am so inspired that so many people care. So grateful for all these tender mercies!!
ps- you know you're super prego when not even your maternity shirts fit over your belly

It's this guy's birthday today and do you know what he's doing? Pretty much what he does any time he's not working- chasing kids. Spending three days doing whatever THEY want - the aquarium, bouncy house, play places, eating at kid places, swimming and staying up late.
That's because he's selfless like that and he LOVES his kids. He is their best friend! I'm pretty convinced that Michael is the best dad that any kid could have. He loves playing with them and spending time with them and spoiling them. Which is such a life saver for me!! That means he's the dad that goes down the slide with his kids even if it hurts his back- which he just did. #oldpeopleproblems
Getting old is no fun but having little kids keeps you young- or at least makes you pretend you're young anyway. Love watching him be such a good dad to his kids and such an amazing husband. He was made for family life.
We sure love you Michael and are so grateful for the love and joy your bring to our family. Happy birthday!!

Well things took an unexpected turn last night when we discovered Snowball had a second baby that was too big for her to deliver. We ended up having to get an emergency C-section last night after spending a long time trying to help her deliver ourselves. Unfortunately, we lost the baby. 😭😭 Mom is in recovery and hopefully will make it.
It reminded me of the literal sacrifice of our bodies we make when we are mothers, and sometimes even the ultimate sacrifice. I'm sure glad it wasn't me heading into an emergency C-section last night, but you never know. You always hope things will go well, but we really do descend into the valley of the shadow of death to deliver life into the world.
Send some good vibes to our little goat that she'll make it and recover.

March 23rd- While you were all sleeping at 3:30am, we were laboring- helping with the birth of triplet baby goats- washing off after birth, rubbing, warming, teaching to nurse, making sure they live through the frosty night. I love our little homestead life!
AND my body was inspired and also decided it's go time! My water broke early in the evening and the contractions came all night. I was glad to have baby goats to tend, it was the prefect distraction to wait out contractions. Now we're at the hospital and so excited to meet our little man in a few hours. Wish us luck! #Spring #babygoats #babybrinkerhoffs
